This medicine is from the group of anti-emetics that act on the muscles of the digestive system, so it helps to stop nausea and vomiting. Metoclopramide is used to treat stomach disorders, like heartburn, gas, pain, indigestion, nausea and vomiting of bile; to stop nausea and vomiting caused by migraine (it helps the absorption of analgesics (painkillers) where they operate more efficiently); to stop or prevent nausea and vomiting before and after surgery, after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.[...]

This medicine is available in form of a tablet.
You should take metoclopramide exactly as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, or do not use it for a longer time than your doctor instructed. Also, this medicine works best if there is a constant amount in the blood. To help keep this amount constant, do not miss any doses and take the medicine at the same time each day. Do not take two doses together if you miss a dose.
